tanist.dkInformation
Satanist.dk is a site that currently doesn't have a purpose.
Satanist.dk does not store any type of cookies because tracking cookies are bothersome, and I don't need them. You can use the site in total safety without worrying about it serving ads to you. Speaking of ads, you won't see them on satanist.dk either, because if there's anything worse than tracking cookies, it's the ads they feed.
The site came to be the day I accidentally discovered that the domain was available, and I bought it. Since I had bought it, I might as well do something with it. It became this website, which I have tried to give some content and purpose.
Everything I write on this site is, of course, my own personal opinion, and if it gives you a frown, it's best that you look within yourself, find out why it happened, and then work on it.
Maybe it's an attempt to break down the ideology that Satanism is about drinking goat blood, toppling gravestones, and sacrificing babies to an imaginary demon. For many, Satanism is a rebellious stance against the dominant Christianity, which is a burden on our society. Of course, one could say that all major monotheistic religions are burdensome, but since I live in Denmark, Christianity is the most prevalent.
Why is it a burden, you think to yourself? Where should I begin...
Quite a mouthful, but will this site change anything? Maybe. Maybe not. Hopefully, you are sitting there right now, having had these thoughts for a long time, but haven't found anyone who thinks the same way as you, and now you know you're not alone. I do not belong to any group or community in Denmark that practices Satanic rituals or political actions, so I must disappoint you if you were hoping to find such things here.
The only Satanic community I know of is The Satanic Temple. TST has carried out some really sweet political actions in the USA, where they have put pressure on politicians who think they can just set up Christian symbols as the only religious symbols. The fundamental Christians sense of religious freedom is wrong, and TST challenges them in that area.
Of course, there's also the good old Church of Satan, which has been around for more than 50 years, but they are, first and foremost, not very politically active, except on Twitter, where they are incredibly entertaining and experts at dealing with Christian puppets and their fragile feelings. Mostly, CoS seems like a bunch of grumpy old folks who primarily believe they have the exclusive right to Satanism. They are also an incredibly closed club, which is both quite alluring but also almost makes it seem irrelevant, and something I would only consider joining to get the membership card after waiting a year and paying a lot of money for it.
I've recently joined a very nice Satanic community on Discord called Satanic Delco. I've been listening to their podcast for quite a while, and decided I'd join them, which is more than reccommendable. They're a bunch of really nice Satanists, trust me.
What I'm trying to say is that I identify myself as an atheistic Satanist without any political ideologies, essentially only the humanistic ideology that means we are all human beings and no one is better than others, so instead of being an asshole, we might as well be good to each other. But since the major monotheistic religions have such a firm grip on society, there's no harm in breaking free from it and poking at them a bit. If they can't handle it, they can always pray to their god and ask it to do something about it.
